Why be present?

Why is it important for us to be more present in our lives?

Because nothing in life is permanent.

Life, relationships and moments are like sand passing through our fingertips.

As they pass through our fingertips we should not waste our time grasping that which has passed.

If so we miss experiencing that which is in front of us.
